Dr. Alyssa Smedley founded From Seed to Vine Ministry in 2025 as part of her portfolio dissertation for her Doctor of Ministry in Discipleship degree at Liberty University. She is passionate about intergenerational discipleship, mentorship, and helping younger generations grow in their understanding of Jesus and the Bible.

Since accepting Jesus into her heart on August 17, 2015, Alyssa has served in a variety of ministry areas, including preschool, elementary, youth, young adult, adult, and worship ministries. Through From Seed to Vine, she desires to cultivate meaningful relationships that encourage spiritual growth, biblical understanding, and lifelong faith.

Alyssa currently attends San Antonio Heights Community Church. She also works for Novo Mission Inc, a nonprofit Christian missionary organization committed to world evangelization, mobilizing the global church, and multiplying gospel movements. In addition, she works with a local Christian homeschool support program and with Outdoor Journeys, a secular nonprofit camp focused on inspiring individuals to connect with the natural world through engagement and education.
